That’s right I will paint your Dog, Cat, Bird, Horse, Cow, Dragon onto canvas using Oil Paint medium.
Process:
#1: You supply me with 3-5 favorite images of your pet. I select one image that I think will make a good painting. The more images that you supply me I will have more to reference from. I usually will simplify the background and use colors that will compliment the subject best. But any color suggestions can be discussed, for example if you wanted to match home interior colors.
#2: Select a canvas size. Remember that framing will add 6-8″ of width and height to the overall dimensions). I Determine the complexity, time and cost it will take to complete. After receiving a deposit I can get started painting.
#3: Timing- One characteristic of using oil paint is that they dry slowly, a painting at the size of 11″x 14″ could take up to 3 weeks to allow for layers to dry.
