Oil Painting

Most of my Oil Paintings are done outside on site. I will just stand there for a couple hours and paint what I see in front of me. And sometimes I will work in the studio.

I have figured out how to lighten my supplies that I can carry them on my bicycle, allowing me to discover new compositions quickly.

Gizzy and I hanging out painting on scene at the Brimfield winery grounds, they were having a classic car show. But I selected the wineries farm truck as my subject to paint.

Oil paint is a type of slow-drying paint that consists of particles of pigment suspended in a drying oil, commonly linseed oil. The viscosity of the paint may be modified by the addition of a solvent such as turpentine or white spirit. Thickness of coat has considerable bearing on time required for drying: thin coats of oil paint dry relatively quickly.

Commissions

I am taking commissions for custom paintings. Let me know your ideas for a painting and I will let you know the specifics on Sizes and Prices.

Framing

I can make custom mat and framing made to fit the substrate I paint on. Give your painting an extra custom look and fit with custom mat and framing.
